iPad Drawing!!!

Last night I found a great new app on my iPad called "My Brushes." It's kinda like an artist app that has all types of brushes, pencils, pens, etc. So I though I'd give it a try and sketch Gibson. It actually turned out pretty good!

Next I'll be drawing my friend's dog, Lulu. Lulu is a super cute Goldendoodle!

NBISS GCH Gibson!

I will definitely say that winning Best of Breed at a National Specialty is one of the most exciting things ever... and being an owner/handler makes it even more exciting! Not to mention that it was under a breeder judge. :-)

Over the past few months Mom and I have worked the dogs at least once a week outside to get them ready for the national. Since all of our surrounding shows are indoors, I wanted to make sure they felt comfortable showing outside and that they wouldn't get too distracted by bugs (if you know Gibson, you know what I mean!). I think all of our hard work paid off! Moses and Gibson both showed beautifully and I could not have asked for anything more from them.

Showing Gibson was the biggest thrill. When I walked him up to the ring he was cool, calm and collected... and inside the ring he was even better! He was absolutely perfect for the examination. Every time the judge (breeder judge Denys Janssen from Columbia) walked up to him, he looked at her with excitement and love, and in her words "He begged for it!"

I really want to thank everyone for all of the nice comments and congratulatory messages. It really means a lot to all of us! A huge thanks to Denys for recognizing Gibson!

Here are a few photos.... enjoy!

Puppy Patrol!

I know it's been almost a week since I have posted pictures of the puppies, so I thought I would post a few real quick. This past weekend my dad kept the puppies while mom and I went to Sacramento for the APC National Specialty. I seriously think they have doubled in size!! I'm planning on going out to mom's tonight for stacked photos.... so check back soon. I'll also be posting photos from the National Specialty soon too.

As always, you may click on the photos to enlarge them.
